Short and sweet. After the release of the CSM minutes, CCP have basically told the 0.0 endgame player base to go fuck itself while they do whatever they want (Incarna/Dust), leaving with us a terrible sov system, broken server mechanics, loads of ship/module imbalances, among other problems.

We, the player base, have been patient. We gave CCP ample time to respond to our calls for help, our requests for a return to excellence, and pleas to fix broken features. As such, CCP has formally declined any response until they complete their pet projects.

It is my belief now, that we the player base need to resort to more influential means of getting our point accross. We have done the Ghandi route, now it's time to go the more violent method.

I propose we remind CCP that the problems in their game are not limited to 0.0, and in fact we can stretch them into their carebear base. We can attack their source of income and remind them that without us, there is no endgame that they love to advertise. We can make the more populus player base know just how broken this game is. They will either join us or quit the game; either will have ample effect.

So fellow SHC'ers, will you join in the protest?

[edit] very tired, misspelling/bad grammer likely to exist.

And what do you expect to accomplish by this? How would making some random carebears rage-quit help?

Has this technique ever worked in the past?

Fill Jita with your alts and leave them logged in while you do other stuff.

Take a 500 man noob ship fleet with those same alts and start suiciding them in Motsu.

FRAPS and make sure these stories are reported in the gaming press with the reasons.

Making sure that the gaming media covers what is happenning will encourage CCP to bend, and personally I'd be prepared to help because I'm sick and tired of hearing FU Incarna is more important and then watching them roll out yet another video promising people massive fleet fights.

I know this is generally thought of as a silly idea but wtf should we come up with that makes them take notice?
And if no "illegal" things are used to make a point then what can they ban us for?
A rise in suicide ganks, 1000's of wardecs with most of 0.0 rolling through high-sec looking for kills is all ok (but perhaps its :effort:).

And if nothing happens and no response is made then...fuck it. We are out.

Has sitting around doing nothing ever worked?

Don't need to lag a system out or break the EULA to get CCP's attention

If most of the large 0.0 alliances put their differences aside for a bit and all came to empire war decing random corps/suicide ganking everything that moves, killing miners, mission runners, freighters locking down mission hubs etc CCP will soon notice (sort of hulkageddon/grief night only for a month).

Empire players must make up most if not a big chunk of CCPs customers and if they start moaning and quitting CCP's wallet will start hurting.

Yeah, I don't think many people are going to commit the time to a fake protest in an online game. If you're that upset about it, protest via not renewing your subscription.
