Here's the only battle report I've seen so far:

A few minutes later one of our FC's got the idea to make a sniper spot (that the enemy could hear over coms) 450km off the gate (this was the bait) more then a few of our snipers went up there. Quickly enough 3 titans dropped right on top of this spot and 3 DD's went off in quick succession.
The call on coms "All three have been lit GET EM" went off. I was 740 km below the gate from Dead tear and warped to a friendly wreck about 22km behind him. As I came outta warp I took a smart bomb or some sort of blast, and went down to 45% hull. I knew I was done but I was 21km off the titans. So I spammed gang chat for a warp to, there were many pilots within range so I doubt even a few of our pilots jumped at me to get there.
What followed was the xdeathx and solar titans warping out but the goon Erebus was about 15 degrees off his warp as 1 then 2 bubbles appeared around him. Then the calls to bump and smack him were given.
Everyone who could began a bump brigade on him and dumped all the DPS they could. I slammed my ceptor into him a few times and then died to one of the titans that wasn't on my screen somehow (lag oops?) many of the ceptors and smaller ships died in droves. Then the battleships and battle cruisers began bumping him and it appeared it was a done deal. One of our FC's began calling his armor going down by 10% almost every 20 seconds. Then a lag bubble and he popped. Most didn't see it, but the wreck began appearing on overviews or in space.
Cheers showed up on comms for maybe 15 seconds before comms discipline took hold again and we began working on support. I had been podded by this point but didn't realize it until my screen flashed into our home station.
Great work guys, we knew this was coming. We knew goons were going to bring something and we prepared for it. Great FC'ing, Great allies and most importantly Great Teamwork.
Thank you goons, you said you couldn't wait for this. But guess what.
Neither could we.

The question that's really nagging me is how did they fit it? The killmail got truncated (thank you CCP) and I can't seem to find any posts on it.

| Killmails with titans on them get trunctated due to the load generated when a fleet is doomsdayed. Same thing happened with Oort's mail. |

Titans being killed is still pretty epic esp if the alliance involved only has one or two, like Razors being destroyed was a stomach punch and hurt, where as say BoB losing one now would still hurt, but be a bit 'meh' - so as long as the reporting is measured and not complete shit, keep it coming. 
Anyway, unlucky Goon dude.

it had officer smartbombs other ten that dunno what he got fitted
the reason the titan couldnt warpoff was that we kept bumping him, suiciding ships to stop him to align, until oure dictors were back

The third time was a charm, in the last weeks we had landed on top of 2 previous titans the first sokolD getting out by a hair as we could'nt uncloak him at a safe spot and when he finally did uncloak 14 minutes after DD all our dictors/hics were 50+km off of him so he just jumped out.
The second situation was katalizator in bq0 who cynoed into system and the minute we saw him we descended upon him with 100+ support, 50+ capitals and as his premature DD went off he nailed his whole support fleet in the POS. We had him in our sights, we could taste it - it was there for our taking caps sieged on him support nailing him - then a mom ECM Bursted from behind the POS at just the right time that apparently bubbles werent properly placed and bumpers were not doing there job and warped off.
This time however we made sure that everyone and there mother when we got ontop of the goon erebus, let there be no mistake, he was aligning to warp like the other titans, we bumped him to hell and back along with bubbling him with hics/dictors - we descended on him with our whole 230 man fleet including 70 capitals and he went down as his support fleet tryed to jump in on gates encased in large bubbles - we were miles off the gate (300km out).
In the end it was good fight to all involved parties, friendly forces lost allot of support ships but in the end only 7 friendly capitals went down (no friendly supercaps).
So ya, bottom line, despite all the convoluded statements - killing a titan for the last month has been at the top of our agenda in tactical planning. |
