Any reports about what is happening in Deklein? (cant see any)
Info i have suggests SPARTA making a push to take the area fighting PURE alliance in the area, with IRON massing in ROIR looking like they are about to make a play. |

IRON have been anchroing towers in dek, GD (DORM) are talking to IRON + NC To save there MoM which comes out in 10days time in S-D.
Project Alice (made up of enternity from MC) is making a move on the fade stations.
Pure look interested in dek and have been poking about and publishing maps of Deklein on eve-files :p _________________

IRON seems heavily interested in Pure Blind too and have taken over the role as the most heavily visible force there... together with Red Alliance (!!!!) _________________

Quite sad how all these alliances are interested now. when we were inviting attacks upon our space there was 1 single semi-attack from smashkill which was thwarted from the offset. Other than that there was no interest.
Kind of makes me a sad panda to see people quite literally racing to spam pos now there is no real inhabbitants.
Guess it's the way things go these days, space isn't worth capturing unless it's handed on a plate. Oh well, I am sure D00M will be mixing it up in the north again soon. Too much history up there to let the nap have their own way. |

As soon as Darknesss eve-mailed us and said the pos nip was being cancelled we became interested in Deklein. I've personally made it a point to not interfere in the Deklein/Fade/Pure Blind/Cloud Ring politics during the time we had the agreement in place. With ATF and later on INSRG it became apparent that view on things were not mutual and that's when we started planning for the war and owning Deklein. _________________ Director

Not exactly. Daisho Syndicate (the one from PB, was living in TPAR, moved to G-Q2, recently got evicted, etc etc) is made up of mostly ex-SPARTA corps. Not all of them, just some of the better ones/core ones. Oh and a pair of ex-ODD (ex-IAC) corps joined about a week ago too (Hi Insig!).
DAI is nowhere near Dek though; were down in vale having some fun with HYDRA, in conjunction with KIA - an unknown entity hired us against them (though Ive heard rumours HYDRA did it themselves; not that it makes any sense ). But no, nowhere near Dek; and as far as the grunts know anyway, no plans to retake Dek.
Slightly tangential post, meh _________________

IRON has a long history in Deklien way back when G were around or more apt G/IRON had control of the north for a very long time. It does not surprise me that they would like to retake the North. Particularly as it is now shall we say very fractious, Although that said the North has always been fractious. I was up North during the whole NFC/G/IRON/Sparta escapades which was a painful time i can tell you.
Still IRON i had always felt had trouble holding on to the North without other alliances help. So it will be interesting to see if any one else is involved ? |

everyone is involved that kicked insrg out of the north, plus more now. That means pure/mm/rzr/iron/me/hydra?
Goons still have a small presence in pure blind, and RA dropped 5 towers in EC- yesterday. They have also been trying to take p-2 from us, along with the help of ultima rati0 and romania renegades. So far, they have not managed to do so, but i am sure they will catch us off guard at some point. P-2 isnt really worth fighting for, but it has been a ton of fun the past few days. _________________

The moons! Everyone wants to the moons! Why else would RA be there?
Other than that's it's too early to say who's doing what or getting which bit. There's a whole lot of loosely affiliated corps and alliances descending on the area and much fun to be had while it all gets worked out.
Personally I've never been here before and keep getting lost |

Im guessing IRON are in Pure Blind purely as a staging point for an attack into Deklein. Roir is the closest NPC system to Deklein / Fade.
No alliance (that im aware of) has every seriously wanted to hold Pure Blind, as tactically its virtually impossible, and its of little value compared to other areas with better moons / asteroids / npc.
Its interesting to watch a slow trickle of Goons and Reds coming into the Pure blind entry areas namely 93pi / ec-p8r. Most likely explanation is the moons. However a more suspicious person could see a slow build up in the entry systems as a precursor to an attack on some area in the North, it will be interesting to see. |

Yep.
Iron tried to attack a coraco ardente promethium moon in ROIR itself a couple of days ago. When it came out of reinforced they brought in a small fleet to kill it...unfortunately only bringing out two capitals. We jumped some carriers and motherships in, killing the two capitals and a bs + bc who couldn't get out intime (no support ftl ). IRON agreed to let cora take the pos down in order that they didn't have to lose more stuff to kill it ... grrrr. I spent 30 mins repping the damn thing
http://anoint.killmail.org/?a=kill_related&kll_id=38
All in all, seems pos aren't being defended when attacked, systems not being defended, etc. Dek and Fade will be interesting places in the future. |
