This whole thing is deja vu.
When we started the NGM and 9iz fights we were fresh off killing a Bob gang that ran through lower Geminate in nano's. Stopped them cold in P-E iirc.
Yesterday, it was another Bob gang (rumored to contain 44 vagabonds) that got us together. This latest one tho somehow didn't get a fight (I don't know what that story was), but we still had the blood fever so we met in WNM and pointed our rides toward ED space. DeathScythe says, "hmmm, no fight? Let's shoot the jammer down for lulz."
Next thing I know it is 2:00am and we got big red spot on the map....oh, and a tower in R-6. (smile)

We (smashkill + friends) jumped in, fight is going on, Killboard down, however smashkill + friends hold the field |

That is fully incorrect. One came out during our prime time, the rest came out at the same time (13:00 GMT) as Solar towers in BQ0 which is opposite of our prime time. That was a miscommunication that was costly. 3-J were downed, the BQ0 towers were saved at the time. You accept that there will be costs in an offensive campaign.
It was our first stint working directly with Solar and Legion in a full operation. Lessons were learned and processes will be reworked. For now, we have other things to deal with like R-6 and such. |
It is actually 5 large towers IRC lost in 3-jg and 4 of them came out in russian prime time on the same day as 2 sdg towers in BQO, neither the BQO or IRC towers were saved that day in either system.
Whatever though that is in the past, our reasons for attacking ED space is mostly to draw out more fights as when we come to roam your space anymore all you do is sit in a POS for 1-3 hours, form a fleet of 4:1 odds and bubble the gates - which granted we still leeroy into - but now we are escalating things a bit more that forces you to either fight or lose assets (i.e: pos's). |

smash, rk, atlas and other miscellaneous allaince continued our grief campaign in r-6 today, repping some junk and shooting some station services.
An etheral dawn phoenix was discovered bounced off their shields and our fleet of mostly nanos with a few battleships and random caps as well warped in to kill it. As its dying, about 20 ed support warped in, along with a nyx. Support is killed, we focus on the nyx, and irc caps start to bridge in.
Nyx dies, irc caps join in on the field, two more chimeras die, and one smash revelation joins them. Also an archon dies i guess.
I believe we have two poses up in the system, and all poses are fully repped for both sides.

it was a tech Ii fitted nyx so maybe he just got it or didnt wanna splash out on more toys for it.
