Updates from the battlefront:
Z-K system held throughout US TZ by NC forces, as of this morning 1 POS out of re-inforced and destroyed, 1 Trisurgency carrier down. Small skirmishes with enemy caps playing docking games in QCWA. _________________

A couple more hostile carriers ganked. We're at 4 today now.
Seriously though we're at 38 Carriers now in this campaign averaging about 10 per week. According to the INSRG KB they've killed 11.
When it comes to dreads TRISURGE has killed 22 while we've only killed 10.
And then there's the supercaps and we don't want to talk about that Still there is a pretty decent flow of dead caps in this war so far. _________________ Director

I think it has become my goal in EVE to be mentioned in a RAZOR dispatch.
Now I just need to find something to do... y'know, mentionable. Somehow. _________________

The TRI or Insurgency status quo? The Triumvirate one was fine - we were seperated by some space and getting all up in eachothers grill takes effort and residents and all sorts of shit nobody does if they don't have to.
The Insurgency situation has been that we'd been having a cold war maintained by transparently lying to eachother since the end of the previous Branch-ocalypse. Insurgency was all "And this is the last system we'll take, honest" every 2 weeks and we were all "Okay, lets be buddies then PS leave our brosefs alone" and at some point things down south were slowing down so we said "Okay guys, remember that one time you promised to end it with 304? Yeah think this got a bit out of hand about the time you went half a dozen constellations further and started asking us to take down towers".
If I had to guess, Triumvirates involvement is more a matter of betting on a horse that looks like it has better odds to win - there's a lot of very 2005 hurf-blurf about the north and god knows what going on, making people that have been fighting 18 months non-stop somehow sound like uncoordinated ASCNMKIIs with a boner for Dysprosium. The token reason of being afraid of becoming the next target is nonsensical, considering offensive warfare in EvE currently sucks big cocks. |

Yeah my reference was to Insurgency and the other Northern entities, especially the tension created by them shooting blues/pushing on other allied space. _________________

True i think after all the dramalama on tri it was either find a target to get people together again and forget what happened or slowly die away. We were just convinient. I dont know if they expected the resolve the "Naptrain" has or not but now they are in it and for all parties is win or lose your space.
Still good fun is had by all and although the smack is spectacular out of game in game things are kind of civilzed. except for the part when we kill each other of course _________________

Personally I just think that TRI are doing it for the fun, they wanted a big war and Im sure they didnt want to join the North because of history and because that would just create an uber blob.
And I think that the average TRI grunt liked insurg better then MM/RZR/Friends (I used to be one )
I dont think you have to analyze it so much, I think TRI did it for fun and to dust of the capitals, not to protect their space or because of some secret plan. _________________

GoonSwarm has not hidden the fact that we rather like RZR, and that they are in fact they are the only northern entity we like.
In any case, this is just SpecOps (and GFFL) riding bikes (and padding our k/d ratios). |

I think that goes both ways, in both cases
Btw no tinfoil brigade here yet about Tri moving?
Smash was thinking we allied with Goons to crush them.
Would be funny though _________________ Noknok and some alts.... |

Current status this evening:
Tri running about with 70 man cap gang and 60 support. PA spotted with 60 BS + 10 support. 100+ Insurgency hiding in QCWA at this moment.
Intel says that Tri are hitting Cyno Jammed system in Pure space apparently. They have several caps including a Nyx logged off in a rape cage POS in Branch.
Nothing major (afaik) has happened yet. _________________
