Please use this thread to discuss the fight for Period Basis.
The sides (so far ) are BoB and the Greater BoB Community verses Mercenary Coalition and other Tortugan entities.
This is a continuation of BoB's attack against MC. And follows up on the fight for H74 in Querious.

I really, really am.
And we're fast at getting down CynoJammers.
1-NJLK Cynojammer is disabled.
BoB capitals are now jumping into 1-NJLK.
BoB siege of Period Basis has officially begun. _________________ "Derek is unstoppable, a real intimidator. He does so much for our line both in the way he plays and in the things he says and does. He is one of the strongest, smartest players I?ve played with." |

I love how when BoB starts gaining ground they come out of the woodwork on the forums to boast about it.
In any case, with BoB advancing into Querious and PB does that mean the threats back in Delve have more or less subsided for good? _________________

Let's not go down that route. We expected you guys to move straight on after H74; given how little resistance you had there it's the best thing to do. The idea is to steamroll Tortuga, and so far it's working well. Let's keep it to updates here. _________________

This.
If you could not see the 'humour' in my post (clearly denoted by the ' '), then well - my bad, I'll try not to use it again. You can believe what you wish, but I do not, have not, nor will not harbour any hate towards BoB for their actions as of late. You've done a grand job, getting people online, and getting sorted out, something which - to be fair, I personally never doubted would be any different.
I fully expected you to be in 1-N as soon as H74 was done, especially considering the numbers you had/have online.
Me? Personally I'm sat at work. It's 6:40am. Some of us don't get the pleasures of normal weekends.
Edit: Expanded somewhat. _________________

Well to be fair if there was any resistance in h74 we would not have moved so fast, but well yeah thats history now _________________

All MC Sov-holding towers in 1-NJLK are now in reinforced.
BoB POSes are up and ready to make sweet, sweet love. _________________ "Derek is unstoppable, a real intimidator. He does so much for our line both in the way he plays and in the things he says and does. He is one of the strongest, smartest players I?ve played with." |

I think MC made a little mistake when they tested the wind and backstabbed BoB.
All thru the early stages of tortuga BoB kept waving their caps infront of tortuga and tortuga never once had the balls to engage. It was simply a case of Selene waiting till the cat was away so the mouse could play when it came to sieging POS. No amount of pro-MC propaganda could gloss over what a paper tiger they had become.
Your fate as a serious alliance was probably sealed when you decided to thump smash around for a bit of a morale boost. You realized you can't actually fight in sub caps now and the days where you can outblob people in caps too look cool are gone too.
Goodbye and good riddance MC.
Just for added lulz (and sorry Dri) when I left CONIN I quietly bought up shares from some of the people that left with me. I eventually got a majority. Everytime you dropped from the alliance to do a lone contract I voted against your wardecs I was toying with coming back and trying to take over the corp :effort: but you closed the corp and reformed it.

| I don't think we cleaned the entire H74 const, but the system itself has only BoB towers now. |

in the eternal words of Evil Thug: MC, DIE
it's not that tortuga was a bad decision, it was just badly executed, add to that infighting once period basis was "secured" due to envy over moons and you have the reason why evoke left when our commitment was questioned and they tried to get some of the good moons that were in our part of period basis when it was deceided upfront who would take which constellation incl all of it's resources (but that was b4 we received a moon min spreadsheet of pb)
when afterwards you read comments such as "evoke, as if they ever mattered" or "evoke ? hardly present and when present only in t1 cruisers..." you know it was the best decision to simply walk away
i'm not bitter, it was a good experience being down there, but seeing mc now getting their asses handed to them does put a smile on my face _________________
