Anyway, we were going to defend a INSURG POS that was coming out of reinforced, and along the way the Titan got tackled. I don't know anymore details at the moment.

Im as close as darth as your going to get at this time of night, so i feel authorised to post how it went down.
We'd just taken down a RZR pos knowing he was in local. I picked him up on scan several times.

AFAIK the Titan fired his DD, then logged. Our guys probed him out when he logged, and got what support we had on him straight away. We were given the call and MY capital alt (not yours LC) was the first to arrive. Dropped straight into siege and went at it.

It was touch and go as he was doing a good job of killing our dictors, so i warped over in my Rapier to get some bumps, which i did 4-5 times.

Tri turned up and brought some much needed dictors and hictors, at 20% armor he farted again (bye Rapier). But it made little difference and down he went.

And FYI yes i did call darth. He's asleep Razz

I can confirm no spies were involved in the killing of this titan. I did have to kick a few enemy spies from vent earlier though Smile

TRIs contribution was very minor (DPS wise).
We got there with a smaller gang (about 50-60) and was guarding a gate when they probed the titan out.
Our support warped to the Titan in order to help with holding him down (mostly a job for the dictors) in the belief that the DD was recently spent.
Some 12 support was killed by the DD blast and smartbombs while loading grid. The rest popped bubbles and attacked.

Sniperfleet warped in and helped finish the job (my ship refused to warp however, so I got left out).

Ok seeing as though RZR know the truth and i've now been better informed...

A PURE guy convo's our fc and says 'im at the titan in local' or something along those lines. Our FC, believing it to be a trap, gets a volunteer (Dwain Dibbly) to warp to the PURE guy.

He gangs up the PURE guy and is 9km off the Titan. Immediately locks and shoots it and screams like a girl for people to warp in.

So not a spy. But given all the lame shit we've had to deal with with spies (hi whoever felt the need to ring me and tell me i like to suck cock repeatedly on tuesday)...well, what goes around comes around.
